In 1942, Geraldine Hoff Doyle was only 17 years old and worked at American Broach & Machine Co. One day while she was working, a photographer snapped a picture of her. Little did she know that  J. Howard Miller would use her image for the “We Can Do It” World War II poster, becoming the most iconic women’s empowerment images of all time. This is amazing!
